Hace muchos meses, en Editorial Santillana me dijeron que el 6 de Junio sería el día en que "Zíngara: Buscando a Jim Morrison" llegaría a las tiendas.

¡Cuanto tiempo parece haber pasado desde entonces! Y cuánto he mirado esa fecha marcada con el título del libro en mi calendario. 

Así que un día como hoy no podía evitarlo: tenía que visitar una tienda a ver si realmente estaba allí.

Y lo mejor es que no solo encontré el libro: me encontré también con mis antiguos compañeros (fui librero "en otra vida") y con su calor y cariño sentí de qué forma tan curiosa se cerraba un círculo: de lector, a librero a, esta vez si, escritor. 

Many months ago, Editorial Santillana informed me that the release date of "Zingara: Finding Jim Morrison" would be June the 6th 2012.

Such a long time it seems now! I have stared so many times to that date marked on my wall calendar.

So a day like today, I could not help it: I had to visit one of those bookstores to see if it really was there. 

And the best thing is that I not only found the book: I met my old colleagues (I was a bookseller in a "past life"), and along with their love and appreciation I felt how curiously a circle was closing: from being a reader, to becoming a bookseller and then, turning into a writer.
